Oh!!! Freedom , the most important aspect of our lives, isn't it. We shall fight for it , till we have it.
Freedom has different meaning for different individual. Somewhere it is freedom to live you own life on your own terms while for some it might be freedom to choose the college of your choice. Anyways, in both the cases it has the at most importance. And get it , we need to stand for it.
May be you didn't need to fight for it, but you of course might have to even let your priorities known. And that is the defination of your fight.
In my country , it's a day to day activity for people like us. You have to fight for whatever choices we make for your own life. And the first fight starts in our own backyard.
My country's fight for freedom facinates me the most. I am sometimes let with so many unanswered questions!!!! India's freedom struggle is an example to everyone. The one and only country to have got its freedom by non-violence. It shook the mighty British empire to give us back our freedom...
I wonder , what made them so horrified for?? Were they afraid of killing thousands of people and a countable number of people in jail??? The routine goes like this:
Hundreds of men and women unarmed , would gather and protest under a great leader. After some drama , large platoons of British army shall come and kill a thousand lives and arrest some leaders and put them on jail.
And this processes was repeated everytime. So were is the question of fright in this whole process is what I missed. Were they frightened to kill so many people and might have thought that , at last there will be non left to rule upon!!!! Or the thought that , the prisoned leaders will end up all their wealth sitting in
the jail!!!! What do you say guys??
A sense of fright can be seen in the way they prisoned the actual fighters. When the burned or threw Bhagat Singh's body , gives us a hint of upheaval in their mind. When they frantically searched for fighters like them and hanged them , only then we can sense their Empire shaking!!!
I don't deny the sacrifice of thousands of peaceful protesters but the men with weapons were the ones they were afraid of... Even Lord Vishnu says that, those who do wrong should be punished!!! Then their is no need for us to suffer silently.
Don't you think the British Empire might have thought that by supporting non-violence they will be able to move out of our country safely!!! What do you think???? I think we go indepence due to nonviolence and violence as well. Violence is not a good path to follow until it has some good reason to it!!!!! And a reason as good as freeing ones own country is the biggest reason.
