Experiencing NATURE on the 7th floor!!!!!

When someone moves from a small to a big city there are a lot of changes one has to face.

Some are good and some troubles us a lot.
Its like the two sides of a coin. Still somehow we learn to adapt slowly.

Its said that you turn blind when you are in love. And if you love your work and are passionate about it , you turn blind to all the difficulties which comes with it. We even search goodness out of all the negativity around us , isn't it???

I never thought I will be able to experience nature from so close a distance!!!!

I remember going to my grandparent's place during childhood. The house is a little big in height. There are some earthen pots hanging from the top most part of the house. It was for the pigeons!!!
Now there are no more pigeons but those earthen pots still hangs down , deserted.

Now I live in a big city , on the 7th floor.  The windows are grilled such that it creates some extra space as well.
If you look around you will find a lot of pigeons everywhere sitting on the pipes. Of course they need space when they need to lay eggs.
My mom who has a very big heart made a comfortable place for the pigeon.

Its was such a lovely experience. Its was very pleasing to look at the two pigeons grow , right from shedding their fur gradually to stand up on their feet.
Now they have grown and left the place leaving their parents behind.

It feels a little empty for some weird reasons but still  life moves on , isn't it???

Who knewed nature would be so closer to me in this concrete jungle!!!!!

My New Year Resolution!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE Oh my God!!! We all entered another year. I remember I stared my previous year on a very positive note and wish to do so this year as well. I know the path I have chosen will bring me towards more happiness and continue to do so . But this time I shall make myself count for the promise I shall fulfill this year is to Read some good books. I had read some last year but I don't think it was satisfactory. So I shall make myself richer in knowledge this year for sure. If there is night, there shall also come a day to shine and spread your light to the entire world.

Away with the awkwardness!!!!

When we are at  a new place, meeting a new person or situation, there is a sense of awkwardness in the air.  It cannot be helped , it's bound to happen to introverts mostly. But there are so many new ways of avoiding them or breaking the ice, isn't it. Thanks to social media, it's so easy. It's so easy to write or "like" maybe , to starting being familiar.  But there are situations which cannot be avoided , which arises meeting face to face. Like for example , this is a students birthday , I was invited to. The family is our neighbors as well . I am familiar with the family too but I didn't know how to face the situation. So I helped serving the kids after the party, rather than sit at a corner like a strict teacher. I don't know what impression I might have put on others but I was relieved at that very moment. That's the way I pulled out of that situation. I don't think its bad to behave a little relaxed as such. It's good fo...

Wood making a comeback!!!!

I have never doubted the strength of things of the older times. Whether it is older structures or the strength of our previous generations. They will always remain forefront. It's our belief in them that we again and again go back to the things of the past and make it a part of our present life. Like ,I thought that culottes was so fresh fashion. But when I saw the 70's actress wearing it,its like cool!!!! It's the same thing with wood.  They are thinking of cars made of wood, which would be lighter and stronger!!! Such a cute little modern twist to the age old Chariot!!!! I always think that ,everything is good if it is in sync with the environment. Do I have a wish for anything of the past to make a comeback, then what it would me???? Umm.. Telephones may be...
