Wow!!! I saved some time..

On the previous post I promised some photos from the journey but sorry , the problem still persists so I won't be able to upload them... Apologies, but I can share some of the experiences of the journey instead. 

 It was a very hectic short trip where I had to attend the festival as well as update my documents. The extended office holiday was driving me crazy. Time is precious for everyone isn't it. So a few tricks can go a lot of good to you what say???

 Long time back when I was moving away from my home I took away all my original documents with me. I made sure that I leave a set of xerox of all my documents back. So on this trip it worked as a saviour. When I needed any certificate I just pulled one from the set and I was sorted.

 I always keep my identity card and some passport size photo with me. Well you never know when they might come handy.

 A small purse doesn't suit me. I love carrying a big tote fully armed but I hate it when others dump all their belonging into my bag!!grrrr...

 It is always convenient to have a look at the road on the backseat until you fell uneasy. It saves a lot of time when you know about a proper place. A nearby ATM machine or a shop can save you a lot of time .

 These are some of the tricks which I follow. I hope they are as useful to you all as well. Let me know about your secret ideas as well. I would love to try them.

Away with the awkwardness!!!!

When we are at  a new place, meeting a new person or situation, there is a sense of awkwardness in the air.  It cannot be helped , it's bound to happen to introverts mostly. But there are so many new ways of avoiding them or breaking the ice, isn't it. Thanks to social media, it's so easy. It's so easy to write or "like" maybe , to starting being familiar.  But there are situations which cannot be avoided , which arises meeting face to face. Like for example , this is a students birthday , I was invited to. The family is our neighbors as well . I am familiar with the family too but I didn't know how to face the situation. So I helped serving the kids after the party, rather than sit at a corner like a strict teacher. I don't know what impression I might have put on others but I was relieved at that very moment. Wood making a comeback!!!!

I have never doubted the strength of things of the older times. Whether it is older structures or the strength of our previous generations. They will always remain forefront. It's our belief in them that we again and again go back to the things of the past and make it a part of our present life. Like ,I thought that culottes was so fresh fashion. But when I saw the 70's actress wearing it,its like cool!!!! It's the same thing with wood.  They are thinking of cars made of wood, which would be lighter and stronger!!!
