Been to my village!!!

Oh God had been a great trip to my village. It was so refreshing , a round of detox session I guess!!!! And I was stranded of my net connection as well.... But no complaining I was a little break for me as well!!! I got to catch up with some uninterrupted sleep after a long time. I know I am trying to get acquaint with my new place guys!!!!

I had gone to attend "NUAKHAI" guys. Its like a harvesting festival , where we thank God as well as our ancestors for blessing us and proving with an awesome harvest!!!! Its like the starting of a new year I guess....

It is a sort of a small family reunion as well. Of course , everybody have moved to the city to earn some big bucks. But still I like the quiteness of the country side... Its like connecting with your soul!!!!

In India alone it is known by many names like Pongal, Baisakhi, etc. It depends on different region.

I am sure you all might be celebrating such festivals on your country side. Do share it with us. It will be awesome....

My New Year Resolution!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE Oh my God!!! We all entered another year. I remember I stared my previous year on a very positive note and wish to do so this year as well. I know the path I have chosen will bring me towards more happiness and continue to do so . But this time I shall make myself count for the promise I shall fulfill this year is to Read some good books. I had read some last year but I don't think it was satisfactory. So I shall make myself richer in knowledge this year for sure. If there is night, there shall also come a day to shine and spread your light to the entire world.

Away with the awkwardness!!!!

When we are at a new place, meeting a new person or situation, there is a sense of awkwardness in the air. It cannot be helped , it's bound to happen to introverts mostly. But there are so many new ways of avoiding them or breaking the ice, isn't it. Thanks to social media, it's so easy. It's so easy to write or "like" maybe , to starting being familiar. But there are situations which cannot be avoided , which arises meeting face to face. Like for example , this is a students birthday , I was invited to. The family is our neighbors as well . I am familiar with the family too but I didn't know how to face the situation. So I helped serving the kids after the party, rather than sit at a corner like a strict teacher. I don't know what impression I might have put on others but I was relieved at that very moment. That's the way I pulled out of that situation. I have never doubted the strength of things of the older times. Whether it is older structures or the strength of our previous generations. They will always remain forefront. It's our belief in them that we again and again go back to the things of the past and make it a part of our present life. Like ,I thought that culottes was so fresh fashion. But when I saw the 70's actress wearing it,its like cool!!!! It's the same thing with wood. They are thinking of cars made of wood, which would be lighter and stronger!!!
